Cucumber Raita is a refreshing yogurt-based condiment flavored with grated cucumber, spices, and herbs. It is commonly served as a cool side dish to complement spicy Indian meals and can also be enjoyed as a dip.
Grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess water.
In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, grated cucumber, roasted cumin powder, salt, and black pepper.
Mix well until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped mint leaves and a sprinkle of chili powder before serving.
