Fry the plantain and almonds in oil until lightly browned, then remove from the pan.

Using a blender, process the roasted tomatoes, tomatillos, soaked chilies, garlic, plantain, almonds, raisins, bread, spices, and chicken broth until smooth.

Add fried turkey pieces to the sauce, simmer for about 45 minutes until the turkey is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
