Recipe Instructions
- 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
- 2
Add flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until the dough begins to form.
- 3
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 4
Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- 5
Press down the dough gently and transfer to a greased baking sheet, stretching it out to fit the sheet.
- 6
Let the dough rest for another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 7
Gently press your fingers into the dough to create dimples. Drizzle with more olive oil and sprinkle rosemary and sea salt evenly over the top.
- 8
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- 9
Remove from oven and let cool slightly on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
