Rinse the grape leaves in warm water and drain well.

Prepare the filling by mixing the cooked rice, dill, mint, parsley, onions, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt in a bowl.

Place a grape leaf on a flat surface and add about a tablespoon of the filling near the stem end.

Fold the stem end over the filling, then fold both sides towards the middle, and roll up tightly.

Line a cooking pot with a few unused grape leaves.

Place the stuffed leaves seam side down in the pot.

Pour over the additional olive oil, lemon juice, and enough water to just cover the dolmades.

Place an inverted plate on top of the dolmades to keep them submerged.

Cover the pot and simmer over low heat for about 40-50 minutes until they are tender.
