Dhokla
Dhokla is a traditional Gujarati dish known for its light texture and a savory taste with a hint of sweetness. It is a steamed cake made from fermented batter, usually served with green chutney.

Mix gram flour, semolina, sugar, salt, and turmeric in a bowl.

Add water and mix to form a smooth batter.

Stir in the ginger paste and green chili paste.

Add the fruit salt or Eno to the batter and mix well until it becomes frothy.

Pour the batter into a greatherased steamer pan.

Steam for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

For tempering, heat oil in a small pan; add mustard seeds and let them crackle.

Add sesame seeds and asafoetida. Pour this tempering over the steamed dhokla.

Garnish with chopped coriander and grated coconut.
