Wash and soak 250g of basmati rice for 20-30 minutes, In a pressure cooker, add the 250g biryani paste and saut it on a low flame for a minute, Add the appropriate quantity of protein of choice (approx. 500g) and mix with the paste for a minute, Add 375 ml (1 1/2 cup) water and bring it to a boil, Strain the soaked rice and add it to the cooker, check salt and adjust if needed, Cover the pressure cooker and cook it on medium flame for 2 whistles and turn off the flame, Let the steam reduce gradually and allow it to rest for 10-15 mins, Open the cooker, pour over the seasoning oil and fluff the biryani rice gently, and Serve hot.
