Place the parota on a moderately hot tawa. Cook for a minute on each side. Apply ghee or oil on each side of the parota. Cook on medium flame for few more minutes till it turns golden brown. Now remove it from tawa. For flaky texture gently crush the outer ends of parota towards the centre a couple of times
